Potassium Chloroaurate-Mediated In Vitro Synthesis of Gold Nanoparticles Improved Root Growth by Crosstalk with Sucrose and Nutrient-Dependent Auxin Homeostasis in Arabidopsis thaliana
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
The manuscript under title "Potassium Chloroaurate-Mediated In Vitro Synthesis of Gold Nanoparticles Improved Root Growth by Crosstalk with Sucrose and Nutrient-dependent Auxin Homeostasis in Arabidopsis thaliana". The work is interesting and improve our understanding of the crosstalk between KAuCl4-mediated improved root growth and Suc and nutrient-dependent auxin homeostasis in Arabidopsis. The manuscript is well written and structured. Only minor revision of English language is needed.

Reviewer 2 Report
In the current manuscript, the authors describe the impact of AuNP in situ synthesized on Arabidopsis thaliana development. Interestingly, the authors extensively investigated seedling process in various metabolic conditions and in presence or not of AuNPs. They thus showed the importance sucrose, phosphate, and nitrogen in AuNP-favoring root growth. Besides, AuNP also plays a role to counteract auxin-mediated impact on root system development.
Overall, the study is interesting and provide an extensive analysis of the subject. However, before acceptance for publication, it is needed to review the english that contains many grammatical mistakes. Moreover, the manuscript should also be read-proof to correct for inconsistency in font size.
