This paper studies the problem of hypothesis testing over broadcast channels. It presents two achievable error exponent regions. I recommend that the paper be accepted after a minor revision.

  Main comments: 1. It is mentioned in the remark of Theorem 2 that if \theta_{cross,1} and \theta_{cross,2} are not active, then there is no tradeoff between \theta_1 and \theta_2. But it's unclear whether this is a fundamental property or is just the characteristic of the achievable region presented in Theorem 2. In particular, it is important to know whether the achievable exponent presented in Theorem 1 is optimal or not. Also, are there non-degenerate examples for which \theta_{cross,1} and \theta_{cross,2} are not active?   2. The expressions are highly complicated. It is unclear whether such expressions can be evaluated for any reasonable example.   3. The following paper should be cited: C. Tian and J. Chen, "Successive Refinement for Hypothesis Testing and Lossless One-Helper Problem," IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, vol. 54, pp. 4666-4681, Oct. 2008.   4. There are a few typos and grammatical errors. For example:   p. 1, That means, each terminal observes a memoryless sequence and depending on the underlying hypothesis...   p.1, Focusing on two decision centers, two scenarios can encountered   p.5, then the it produces
