I agree with this reviewer's request to add this citation to the paper and have done so. The recommended citation was authored by Lineweaver, Fenner, and Gibson. I also included in the citation the paper published by Gonzalez, Brownlee, and Ward in 2001.

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsThe article is clear and well-written, and full of data for the general audience, which gives it an air of authoritativeness. The author helpfully indicates in some places the existence of controversy, and also author’s own take on this controversy. Author might consider inserting, in at least some of these places, the extent to which fellow specialists accept Author’s position & arguments. In general, it would help the non-specialist to know whether Author’s position represents a well-accepted view among the specialists. (It seems so; but a few reassurances would be valuable.)

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsI want to thank the author for his gracious attitude toward my many suggestions to improve the article. He has, more or less, implemented all of them and, consequently, I believe the article is much improved and strengthened. I appreciate that the author has agreed that implementing the suggestions has, indeed, strengthened his paper and his thesis.
