MPCR-Net: Multiple Partial Point Clouds Registration Network Using a Global Template
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
Line 4 - First author it seems not to be formatted accordingly.
Line 243 - 244 - The phrase (idea) can be split into two sentences? Make it short and clear. Short phrases/propositions.
Table 1 - There is an implementation of the proposed experiments? There is a GitHub repository? If yes, provide the link and give a chance to your readers to test the proposed idea.
The experiments provided are not sufficiently compelling. The results of the experiments are quite interesting but some gaps related to how they have been obtained are missing. The current results obtained can be detailed, procedure and providing a link to a GitHub repository in order for the reader to be able to test the idea.
Page 13 - 14 - It seems that it doesn't respect the template. the names of the subsections.
When referring to Figures within the text, use the same notation as the caption of Figures. Example: "In Figure X...." and not "In Fig....", please, take a look over the template carefully.

Page 1, Line 23:
»MPCR-Net could improve the accuracy and robustness of the 3D point cloud registration.«
MPCR-Net improve the accuracy and robustness, or it exists some condition, in which MPCR-Net improve the accuracy and robustness?
Page 2, Line 92:
What is the meaning of “the global template”? Are there also the local template?
Page 4, Line 195:
“extracted from an ideal CAD model is used”
What is an ideal CAD model? In which cases, the CAD model is not ideal?
Page 5: Line 207:
“partial template point clouds,”
What are the partial template clouds? Are they related to the global template point cloud?
Page 5. Figure 1:
Figures are a little blurry, the text is not clearly visible. Maybe, it is an issue with the image resolution, or they are not properly scaled?
Page 10, Line 350:
“jth” => “j-th”
Page 12, Line 408:
“noise of 0.0075 level to the initial ”
How is this threshold determined? Experimentally?
Page 12, Line 411:
“add 284 outlier noise points ”
Why this number outlier noise points?
