Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Dear Editor:

I focuses the cloud seeding results and connected paragraph of this paper.

I think if this paper gives the satellite image of the enhanced cloud by seeding, it will be proper for the publication. However, the authors should consider the followings:

1) The enhanced cloud can be produced by the orographical effect.

2) It is very impressive that the enhanced cloud shape is similar with the AgI seeding track, but the AgI dispersion is still shallow line-type shape at the moment of satellite image time a few minutes after seeding. I think the other dispersion model must be applied. The model is not spread and is still line type after even some time after seeding.

I will approve the publication on the condition that the above questions is clearly explained.

Overall, the paper has a good structure and interesting content. There is still recommended a thorough English proofing with some examples below::

- Reference missing on line 46, 50
- line 113: Figure 1 does not have a point C, nor A nor B
- line 174 - 176 the segments numbering is not consistent

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The article has done a laboratory work for cloud seeding using Chinese satellite data, which has appropriate innovation from all dimensions. At the same time, it is better to pay attention to the following things in the article and provide explanations about them in the article.

1-     What has been the impact of this new cloud seeding operation on the increase and decrease of rainfall in the region?

2-     If we want to compare the used satellite data with MADIS data, what are the positive and negative points?
