There was an error in the original publication [1]. The sentence “Multiple scattering considers the radiometric interactions between vegetation and soil and accounts for upward and downward reradiation.” in Paragraph 1 of Section 2.3.1 is confusing. It should read “Multiple scattering considers the radiometric interactions between a surface and the medium above it, and accounts for upward and downward reradiation”.
The editorial office apologizes for any inconvenience caused and states that the scientific conclusions are unaffected. The original article has been updated.
