Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This is an excellent manuscript dealing with a complex topic of LULC changes in relation to CS at a regional level and clearly highlights the value of future considerations in different land use types of carbon storage, biodiversity and economic proliferation.  Carbon neutrality in a country like China is very necessary.

I enjoyed reviewing the manuscript and only found a few typographical errors.

Firstly, Figure 2 should revert to EDP instead of EP for all the components of the graphic.

Secondly, Figure 5 legend must be corrected to Forest instead of Froest.

line 556 should change frist to first.

line 585 a change from rep-resented to represented must also be dealt with.

This is a much improved paper, specifically the structure of the paper enabling the reader to understand better what is a complex processing chain of integrated models.
