Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

In your conclusion, you claim that your improving method will provide 24-hour early warning capability, would you please show more evidence of that by comparing it with previous events?  The additional comparison with the previous landslide events will be a great point to show your model capability, can you do that?

Thank you very much for your valuable comments.

In our proposed landslide early warning model, the SSA-LSTM displacement prediction model is used to predict the displacement of the landslide in the next 24 hours, and finally combined with the improved tangent angle model to quantify the early warning level for early warning. Therefore, an early warning of landslides in the next 24 hours can be achieved. I will address this in a new manuscript.

Unfortunately, the slope in our application case has not yet experienced a landslide event and is in the developmental stage of a landslide. However, according to the application of the improved tangent angle, accurate early warning can be achieved as long as the displacement prediction is accurate, so we spend a lot of space in the paper to show the accuracy of our proposed landslide displacement prediction model.

The article is interesting but needs some little change

Thank you very much for your valuable comments.

I will add a location map, geological map, and topographic map of the study area based on your comments. And give the layout of monitoring points.
