The authors have presented in a clearly structured article the advantages of mass ORV of dogs based on a review of the current literature in India as well as on a risk analysis for a hypothetical ORV campaign  in dogs using hand distributiuon of oral rabies vaccine.

Lysvulpen vaccine is still used for ORV in Europe and the vaccine currently available on the market contains  mix of SAD Bern and SAD 19 like virus . This vaccine  is dedicated for vaccination of foxes and raccoon dogs

the name of the SAD B19 vaccine is Fuchsoral former manufacturer is IDT, Germany currently Ceva, France. Like Lysvulpen this vaccine is used for immunisation foxes and raccoon dogs in Europe

1) We have made changes to the titles in the first 2 columns of Table 1 as suggested.

2) We have added SAD B19 “like" to vaccine strain details of Lysvulpen.

3) Thank you for the vaccine name "Fuchsoral". It has been added now.
