The journal retracts the article “Assessing the Flexibility of Renewable Energy Multinational Corporations” [1].
Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the publisher relating to the appropriateness of the authorship list and the origins of this article.
Adhering to our standard procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and Editorial Board with input from the Publication Ethics Commission of MGIMO University. Here, the Editorial Office, Editorial Board, and the Publication Ethics Commission were unable to confirm the contributions of the authors listed on this manuscript, nor could the origins of this study be verified. As a result, the Editorial Board have lost confidence in the validity of the findings and decided to retract this article [1] as per MDPI policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Energies.
The authors did not provide a comment on this decision.
