I have already published three articles in MDPI journals (as a co-author in Applied Sciences and Sensors and as an author in Algorithms), and I have always been very pleasantly surprised by the highly informed reviews with many inspiring comments, which helped to improve the quality of the articles significantly, e.g., in the last article, "The Assignment Problem and Its Relation to Logistics Problems in Algorithms", the text was extended from the original 19 pages to 27 pages, taking into account many other aspects. The work of the editors is also excellent, as they are very quick and efficient in helping the authors and, in addition, in the promotion of the paper after publication.

This is my first publication with MDPI. I carry out clinical activity at a provincial hospital dedicated to direct assistance. My main interest in clinical research has always been as a learner, except for minor contributions. There are two reasons that led my working group to commit to the publication of the manuscript, "The First Italian Telemedicine Program for Non-Critical COVID-19 Patients: Experience from Lodi (Italy)": the belief that the home care of COVID-19 has a strategic role in controlling the impact of the disease and the desire to document the effort made at the onset of the pandemic to organize an adequate health response in a new and dramatic reality. The processing and publication of the data required a great effort on our part, due to our inexperience, but the help and appreciation of the reviewers and the editorial staff allowed us to achieve this important result. The lived experience will be a stimulus to expand our future goals.
