Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue will gather high-quality contributions addressing emerging pedagogical approaches, digital tools, and technological innovations that are transforming teaching and learning in online, blended, and hybrid environments. It welcomes research on how contemporary strategies such as gamification, flipped classroom models, adaptive learning, and microlearning can enhance student engagement, motivation, autonomy, and academic performance. Particular attention is also paid to the growing role of artificial intelligence in education, including intelligent tutoring systems, generative AI, automated assessment, personalized learning pathways, and learning analytics for data-informed decision making.
In addition, this Special Issue requests the submission of studies exploring immersive and interactive technologies, such as virtual and augmented reality, simulation-based learning, collaborative platforms, mobile learning, and cloud-based educational ecosystems. Contributions may address both technological development and pedagogical effectiveness, as well as challenges related to accessibility, inclusion, ethics, privacy, teacher training, and digital competence. By bringing together interdisciplinary perspectives, this Special Issue will provide a comprehensive overview of current advances, practical applications, and future directions in e-learning, with the goal of supporting more effective, engaging, inclusive, and intelligent educational experiences.
