This study addresses the complex challenges associated with flexible mattress (soft mattress) installation in the sharply curved and deep-water sections of the Yangtze River, particularly in the Yaozui revetment reconstruction project. Under extreme hydrodynamic conditions—water depths exceeding 30 m and velocities over 2.5 m/s—the risk of structural failures such as displacement, flipping, or tearing of the mattress becomes significant. To improve construction safety and stability, the study integrates numerical modeling and on-site strain monitoring to analyze the mechanical response of flexible mattresses during deployment. A three-dimensional finite element model based on the catenary theory was developed to simulate stress distributions under varying flow velocities and angles, revealing stress concentrations at the mattress’s upper edge and reinforcement junctions. Concurrently, a real-time monitoring system using high-precision strain sensors was deployed on critical shipboard components, with collected data analyzed through a remote IoT platform. The results demonstrate strong correlations between mattress strain, flow velocity, and water depth, enabling the identification of high-risk operational thresholds. The proposed monitoring and early-warning framework offers a practical solution for managing construction risks in extreme riverine environments and contributes to the advancement of intelligent construction management for underwater revetment works. Facing the demands of Human–Robot Collaborative (HRC) assembly for complex products under Industry 5.0, this paper proposes an intelligent assembly method that integrates Large Language Model (LLM) reasoning with Augmented Reality (AR) interaction. To address issues such as poor visibility, difficulty in knowledge acquisition, and strong decision dependency in the assembly of complex aerospace products within confined spaces, an assembly task model and structured process information are constructed. Combined with a retrieval-augmented generation mechanism, the method realizes knowledge reasoning and optimization suggestion generation. An improved ORB-SLAM2 algorithm is applied to achieve virtual–real mapping and component tracking, further supporting the development of an enhanced visual interaction system. The proposed approach is validated through a typical aerospace electronic cabin assembly task, demonstrating significant improvements in assembly efficiency, quality, and human–robot interaction experience, thus providing effective support for intelligent HRC assembly. Triplet Spatial Reconstruction Attention-Based Lightweight Ship Component Detection for Intelligent Manufacturing

Automatic component recognition plays a crucial role in intelligent ship manufacturing, but existing methods suffer from low recognition accuracy and high computational cost in industrial scenarios involving small samples, component stacking, and diverse categories. To address the requirements of shipbuilding industrial applications, a Triplet Spatial Reconstruction Attention (TSA) mechanism that combines threshold-based feature separation with triplet parallel processing is proposed, and a lightweight You Only Look Once Ship (YOLO-Ship) detection network is constructed. Unlike existing attention mechanisms that focus on either spatial reconstruction or channel attention independently, the proposed TSA integrates triplet parallel processing with spatial feature separation–reconstruction techniques to achieve enhanced target feature representation while significantly reducing parameter count and computational overhead. Experimental validation on a small-scale actual ship component dataset demonstrates that the improved network achieves 88.7% mean Average Precision (mAP), 84.2% precision, and 87.1% recall, representing improvements of 3.5%, 2.2%, and 3.8%, respectively, compared to the original YOLOv8n algorithm, requiring only 2.6 M parameters and 7.5 Giga Floating-point Operations per Second (GFLOPs) computational cost, achieving a good balance between detection accuracy and lightweight model design. Future research directions include developing adaptive threshold learning mechanisms for varying industrial conditions and integration with surface defect detection capabilities to enhance comprehensive quality control in intelligent manufacturing systems. Advanced Deep Learning Methods to Generate and Discriminate Fake Images of Egyptian Monuments

Artificial intelligence technologies, particularly machine learning and computer vision, are being increasingly utilized to preserve, restore, and create immersive virtual experiences with cultural artifacts and sites, thus aiding in conserving cultural heritage and making it accessible to a global audience. This paper examines the performance of Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN), especially Style-Based Generator Architecture (StyleGAN), as a deep learning approach for producing realistic images of Egyptian monuments. We used Sigmoid loss for Language–Image Pre-training (SigLIP) as a unique image–text alignment system to guide monument generation through semantic elements. We also studied truncation methods to regulate the generated image noise and identify the most effective parameter settings based on architectural representation versus diverse output creation. An improved discriminator design that combined noise addition with squeeze-and-excitation blocks and a modified MinibatchStdLayer produced 27.5% better Fréchet Inception Distance performance than the original discriminator models. Moreover, differential evolution for latent-space optimization reduced alignment mistakes during specific monument construction tasks by about 15%. We checked a wide range of truncation values from 0.1 to 1.0 and found that somewhere between 0.4 and 0.7 was the best range because it allowed for good accuracy while retaining many different architectural elements. Our findings indicate that specific model optimization strategies produce superior outcomes by creating better-quality and historically correct representations of diverse Egyptian monuments. Thus, the developed technology may be instrumental in generating educational and archaeological visualization assets while adding virtual tourism capabilities. Full article

With the in-depth application of digital transformation in the oil industry, data-driven methods provide a new technical path for drilling engineering safety evaluation. In this paper, a data-driven drilling safety level evaluation system is proposed. By integrating the three-dimensional visualization technology of wellbore trajectory and the prediction model of friction torque, a dynamic and intelligent drilling risk evaluation framework is constructed. The Python platform is used to integrate geomechanical parameters, real-time drilling data, and historical working condition records, and the machine learning algorithm is used to train the friction torque prediction model to improve prediction accuracy. Based on the K-means clustering evaluation method, a three-tier drilling safety classification standard is established: Grade I (low risk) for friction (0–100 kN) and torque (0–10 kN·m), Grade II (medium risk) for friction (100–200 kN) and torque (10–20 kN·m), and Grade III (high risk) for friction (>200 kN) and torque (>20 kN·m). This enables intelligent quantitative evaluation of drilling difficulty. The system not only dynamically optimizes bottom-hole assembly (BHA) and drilling parameters but also continuously refines the evaluation model’s accuracy through a data backtracking mechanism. This provides a reliable theoretical foundation and technical support for risk early warning, parameter optimization, and intelligent decision-making in drilling engineering. Full article

Inventory counting of logistics boxes in complex scenarios has always been a core task in intelligent logistics systems. To solve the problems of a high leakage rate and low computational efficiency caused by stacking, occlusion, and rotation in box detection against complex backgrounds in logistics environments, this paper proposes a lightweight, rotated object detection model: REW-YOLO (RepViT-Block YOLO with Efficient Local Attention and Wise-IoU). By integrating structural reparameterization techniques, the C2f-RVB module was designed to reduce computational redundancy in traditional convolutions. Additionally, the ELA-HSFPN multi-scale feature fusion network was constructed to enhance edge feature extraction for occluded boxes and improve detection accuracy in densely packed scenarios. A rotation angle regression branch and a dynamic Wise-IoU loss function were introduced to further refine localization and balance sample quality. Experimental results on the self-constructed BOX-data dataset demonstrate that the REW-YOLO achieves 90.2% mAP50 and 130.8 FPS, with a parameter count of only 2.18 M, surpassing YOLOv8n by 2.9% in accuracy while reducing computational cost by 28%. These improvements provide an efficient solution for automated box detection in logistics applications. Full article

Tongue cancer, the most aggressive subtype of oral cancer, presents critical challenges due to the limited number of specialists available and the time-consuming nature of conventional histopathological diagnosis. To address these issues, we developed an intelligent diagnostic system integrating Mueller matrix microscopy with deep learning to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency. Through Mueller matrix polar decomposition and transformation, micro-polarization feature parameter images were extracted from tongue cancer tissues, and purity parameter images were generated by calculating the purity of the Mueller matrices. A multi-stage feature dataset of Mueller matrix parameter images was constructed using histopathological samples of tongue cancer tissues with varying stages. Based on this dataset, the clinical potential of Mueller matrix microscopy was preliminarily validated for histopathological diagnosis of tongue cancer. Four mainstream medical image classification networks—AlexNet, ResNet50, DenseNet121 and VGGNet16—were employed to quantitatively evaluate the classification performance for tongue cancer stages. DenseNet121 achieved the highest classification accuracy of 98.48%, demonstrating its potential as a robust framework for rapid and accurate intelligent diagnosis of tongue cancer. Full article

To enhance the reliability of electric propulsion in electric aircraft and address power interruptions caused by current sensor failures, this study proposes a current sensorless fault-tolerant control strategy for permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) based on a long short-term memory (LSTM) network. First, a hierarchical architecture is constructed to fuse multi-phase electrical signals in the fault diagnosis layer (sliding mode observer). A symbolic function for the reaching law observer is designed based on Lyapunov theory, in order to generate current predictions for fault diagnosis. Second, when a fault occurs, the system switches to the LSTM reconstruction layer. Finally, gating units are used to model nonlinear dynamics to achieve direct mapping of speed/position to phase current. Verification using a physical prototype shows that the proposed method can complete mode switching within 10 ms after a sensor failure, which is 80% faster than EKF, and its speed error is less than 2.5%, fully meeting the high speed error requirements of electric aircraft propulsion systems (i.e., ≤3%). The current reconstruction RMSE is reduced by more than 50% compared with that of the EKF, which ensures continuous and reliable control while maintaining the stable operation of the motor and realizing rapid switching. The intelligent algorithm and sliding mode control fusion strategy meet the requirements of high real-time performance and provide a highly reliable fault-tolerant scheme for electric aircraft propulsion. The automatic detection of traffic accidents plays an increasingly vital role in advancing intelligent traffic monitoring systems and improving road safety. Leveraging computer vision techniques offers a promising solution, enabling rapid, reliable, and automated identification of accidents, thereby significantly reducing emergency response times. This study proposes an enhanced version of the YOLO11 architecture, termed YOLO11-AMF. The proposed model integrates a Mamba-Like Linear Attention (MLLA) mechanism, an Asymptotic Feature Pyramid Network (AFPN), and a novel Focaler-IoU loss function to optimize traffic accident detection performance under complex and diverse conditions. The MLLA module introduces efficient linear attention to improve contextual representation, while the AFPN adopts an asymptotic feature fusion strategy to enhance the expressiveness of the detection head. The Focaler-IoU further refines bounding box regression for improved localization accuracy. To evaluate the proposed model, a custom dataset of traffic accident images was constructed. Experimental results demonstrate that the enhanced model achieves precision, recall, mAP50, and mAP50–95 scores of 96.5%, 82.9%, 90.0%, and 66.0%, respectively, surpassing the baseline YOLO11n by 6.5%, 6.0%, 6.3%, and 6.3% on these metrics. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed enhancements and suggest the model’s potential for robust and accurate traffic accident detection within real-world conditions. As a core device in low-voltage distribution networks, the distribution zone transformer (DZT) is influenced by short circuits, overloads, and unbalanced loads, which cause thermal aging, mechanical stress, and eventually deformation of the winding, resulting in parameter deviations from nameplate values and impairing system operation. However, existing identification methods typically require synchronized high- and low-voltage data and are limited to symmetric three-phase conditions, which limits their application in practical distribution systems. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a parameter identification method for DZTs under three-phase unbalanced conditions. Firstly, based on the transformer’s T-equivalent circuit considering the load, the power flow equations are derived without involving the synchronization issue of high-voltage and low-voltage side data, and the sum of the impedances on both sides is treated as an independent parameter. Then, a novel power flow equation under three-phase unbalanced conditions is established, and an adaptive recursive least squares (ARLS) solution method is constructed using the measurement data sequence provided by the smart meter of the intelligent transformer terminal unit (TTU) to achieve online identification of the transformer winding parameters. The effectiveness and robustness of the method are verified through practical case studies. Full article

Achieving sustainable development goals remains a core issue in global development. In response, China has proposed the development of new quality productive forces (NQPFs) through innovative thinking, emphasizing that fostering NQPFs is both an intrinsic requirement and a pivotal focus for advancing high-quality development. Concurrently, the intelligent transformation of the manufacturing sector serves as a critical direction for China’s economic restructuring and upgrading. This paper places “new quality productive forces” and “intelligent transformation of manufacturing” within the same analytical framework. Starting from the logical chain of “new quality productive forces—three major mechanisms—intelligent transformation of manufacturing,” it concretizes the value implications of new quality productive forces into a systematic conceptual framework driven by the synergistic interaction of three major mechanisms: the mechanism of revolutionary technological breakthroughs, the mechanism of innovative allocation of production factors, and the mechanism of deep industrial transformation and upgrading. This study constructs a “3322” evaluation index system for NQPFs, based on three formative processes, three driving forces, two supporting systems, and two-dimensional characteristics. Simultaneously, it builds an evaluation index system for the intelligent transformation of manufacturing, encompassing intelligent technology, intelligent applications, and intelligent benefits. Using national time-series data from 2012 to 2023, this study assesses the development levels of both NQPFs and the intelligent transformation of manufacturing during this period. The study further analyzes the impact of NQPFs on the intelligent transformation of the manufacturing sector. The research results indicate the following: (1) NQPFs drive the intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry through the three mechanisms of innovative allocation of production factors, revolutionary breakthroughs in technology, and deep transformation and upgrading of industries. (2) The development of NQPFs exhibits a slow upward trend; however, the outbreak of the pandemic and Sino-US trade frictions have caused significant disruptions to the development of new-type productive forces. (3) The level of intelligent manufacturing continues to improve; however, from 2020 to 2023, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and Sino-US trade conflicts, the level of intelligent benefits has slightly declined. (4) NQPFs exert a powerful driving force on the intelligent transformation of manufacturing, exerting a significant positive impact on intelligent technology, intelligent applications, and intelligent efficiency levels. Background: Digital transformation is increasingly present in modern logistics, especially in the context of sustainability and circularity pressures. The integration of technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and automated platforms involves not only infrastructure but also a strategic vision, a flexible organizational culture, and the ability to support decisions through artificial intelligence (AI)-based systems. Methods: This study proposes an extended conceptual model using structural equation modelling (SEM) to explore the relationships between five constructs: technological change, strategic and organizational readiness, transformation environment, AI-enabled decision configuration, and operational redesign. The model was validated based on a sample of 217 active logistics specialists, coming from sectors such as road transport, retail, 3PL logistics services, and manufacturing. The participants are involved in the digitization of processes, especially in activities related to operational decisions and sustainability. Results: The findings reveal that the analysis confirms statistically significant relationships between organizational readiness, transformation environment, AI-based decision processes, and operational redesign. Conclusions: The study highlights the importance of an integrated approach in which technology, organizational culture, and advanced decision support collectively contribute to the transition to digital and circular logistics chains. This study proposes a fuzzy five-region membership (FZFM) model to address this issue by subdividing time intervals into five characteristic regions and constructing a composite Gaussian–quadratic membership function. The model dynamically assigns weights to adjacent segments based on temporal distances, ensuring smooth transitions between time intervals while preserving flow conservation. When validated on a 29-day RFID dataset from a large coal mine, FZFM eliminated conservation bias, reduced the boundary mutation index by 11.1% compared with traditional absolute segmentation, and maintained high computational efficiency, proving suitable for real-time systems. The method effectively mitigates abrupt flow jumps at segment boundaries, providing continuous and robust flow distributions for intelligent scheduling algorithms in complex underground logistics systems. Evaluation of Baby Leaf Products Using Hyperspectral Imaging Techniques

The transition to efficient production requires innovative water control techniques to maximize irrigation efficiency and minimize waste. Analyzing and optimizing irrigation practices is essential to improve water use and reduce environmental impact. The aim of the research was to identify a discrimination method to analyze the different hydration levels in baby-leaf products. The species being researched was spinach, harvested at the baby leaf stage. Utilizing a large dataset of 261 wavelengths from the hyperspectral imaging system, the feature selection minimum redundancy maximum relevance (FS-MRMR) algorithm was applied, leading to the development of a neural network-based prediction model. Finally, a mathematical classification model K-NN (k-nearest neighbors type) was developed in order to identify a transfer function capable of discriminating the hyperspectral data based on a threshold value of absolute leaf humidity. Five significant wavelengths were identified for estimating the moisture content of baby leaves. The resulting model demonstrated a high generalization capability and excellent correlation between predicted and measured data, further confirmed by the successful training, validation, and testing of a K-NN-based statistical classifier. The construction phase of the statistical classifier involved the use of the experimental dataset and the critical humidity threshold value of 0.83 (83% of leaf humidity) was considered, below which the baby-leaf crop requires the irrigation intervention. High percentages of correct classification were achieved for data within two humidity classes. Specifically, the statistical classifier demonstrated excellent performance, with 81.3% correct classification for samples below the threshold and 99.4% for those above it. The application of advanced spectral analysis and artificial intelligence methods has led to significant progress in leaf moisture analysis and prediction, yielding substantial implications for both agriculture and biological research. As a key enabling technology for energy transition, the smart grid is propelling the global power system to evolve toward greater efficiency, reliability, and sustainability. Based on the three-dimensional analysis framework of “technology–policy–application”, this study systematically sorts out the technical architecture, regional development mode, and typical application scenarios of the smart grid, revealing the multi-dimensional challenges that it faces. By using the methods of literature review, cross-national case comparison, and technology–policy collaborative analysis, the differentiated paths of China, the United States, and Europe in the development of smart grids are compared, aiming to promote the integration and development of smart grid technologies. From a technical perspective, this paper proposes a collaborative framework comprising the perception layer, network layer, and decision-making layer. Additionally, it analyzes the integration pathways of critical technologies, including sensors, communication protocols, and artificial intelligence. At the policy level, by comparing the differentiated characteristics in policy orientation and market mechanisms among China, the United States, and Europe, the complementarity between government-led and market-driven approaches is pointed out. At the application level, this study validates the practical value of smart grids in optimizing energy management, enhancing power supply reliability, and promoting renewable energy consumption through case analyses in urban smart energy systems, rural electrification, and industrial sectors. Further research indicates that insufficient technical standardization, data security risks, and the lack of policy coordination are the core bottlenecks restricting the large-scale development of smart grids. This paper proposes that a new type of intelligent and resilient power system needs to be constructed through technological innovation, policy coordination, and international cooperation, providing theoretical references and practical paths for energy transition.
