Proteomes Receives Its First Impact Factor of 3.3 and an Updated CiteScore of 5.7

We are pleased to share that Proteomes (ISSN: 2227-7382) has received its first Impact Factor of 3.3 in the 2022 Journal Citation Reports™ released by Clarivate in June 2023.

Proteomes continues to be indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) within the Web of Science Core Collection. This is the first time that Clarivate has awarded Impact Factors to journals outside of the core flagship indices, SCIE and SSCI, creating greater transparency around the citedness of ESCI-indexed journals.

Meanwhile, according to the 2022 CiteScores™ (Elsevier) released in June 2023, Proteomes received an updated CiteScore™ of 5.7.

Proteomes’ CiteScore ranks as follows:

• Q2 (195 out of 428 journals) in the "Biochemistry" category;
• Q2 (50 out of 113 journals) in the "Clinical Biochemistry" category;
• Q3 (203 out of 380 journals) in the "Molecular Biology" category;
• Q3 (23 out of 45 journals) in the "Structural Biology" category.
