EBM of Inorganics recognized as Highly Cited Researcher in 2020

Professor Dr. Jun Chen, an editorial board member of Inorganics, has recently been recognized as a Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher for 2020. This corresponds to the top 1% of the most cited researchers for that publication year.

Prof. Dr. Jun Chen

Prof. Jun Chen is from the Key Laboratory of Advanced Energy Materials Chemistry (Ministry of Education), College of Chemistry, Nankai University, China. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Nankai University in 1989 and 1992, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Wollongong in 1999. He worked as a NEDO Researcher at the National Institute of AIST Kansai Center before joining Nankai University in 2002. He has published over 500 papers and received many awards including the Eward Wicke International Metal Hydride Prize (2002); Outstanding Young Scientists (2003); Tianjin Natural Science 1st Prize (2006); Chinese Electrochemistry Young Prize (2007); Liu DaGang Young Prize (2008); General Motors (China) Investment Award (2009); Innovation Team Leader of Ministry of Education (2010); National 973 Chief Scientists (2010); National Natural Science Award (2nd class) (2011); Australia China Alumni Award for Research and Innovation (Australia China Alumni Association, 2012); Chinese Electrochemistry Contribution Award (2013); and The million plan innovation talents (2013). Both in 2019 and 2020, Prof. Chen was recognised as one of the Highly Cited Researchers by the Web of Science Group. His current research interests include energy materials chemistry; nanomaterials and advanced batteries; fuel cells; and solar cells.
