Batteries | Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board Meeting Held on 6 March 2025

Batteries (ISSN: 2313-0105) has held Editorial Board meetings since 2024. The Editorial Board meeting on 6 March 2025 was hosted by the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Karim Zaghib. Twelve Editorial Board Members plus three Section Editors-in-Chief were in attendance. We are grateful for the participants’ support, and we hope that more Editorial Board Members will be able to join in the future. We invite everyone to review the content of this meeting. 

The meeting began with a presentation on the journal’s 2024 performance. The following topics were discussed:

• The journal’s statistics;
• An analysis of authors’ demographics;
• Journal awards, marketing activities, and conferences Batteries collaborated with;
• The 10th anniversary of Batteries. 

To promote the development of the journal, the discussion turned to the following topics:

• Review-type papers;
• Maintaining a high-quality peer review process;
• Involving early-career scholars in journal activities;
• Hot topics in the field;
• Standardization of electrochemical related terminology.
