5th International Conference EWaS5
The University of Thessaly, Civil Engineering Department, and the University of Naples Federico II, Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Department, are pleased to announce the 5th EWaS (Efficient Water Systems) International Conference on “Water Security and Safety Management: Emerging Threats or New Challenges? Moving from Therapy and Restoration to Prognosis and Prevention”.
The conference aims to unite scientists currently working on water safety challenges. Specifically, the thematic areas of the conference include water safety, sustainable water management in the circular economy, water–energy–food nexus, IoT solutions aiding water management, innovative methods of urban water cycle management, non-conventional water resources, wastewater management and water resource recovery, experimental and computational methods in hydraulic engineering, riverine systems, hydrological response to climate change, environmental crises and hazards, and groundwater modeling.
The keynote speakers of the conference will be professors of renowned international prestige:
- Professor Dragan Savic, KWR Water Research Institute (Netherlands);
- Professor Zoran Kapelan, TU Delft Technical University (Netherlands);
- Professor J.J. Sansalone, University of Florida (USA).
