37th Brazilian Congress of Virology
The 37th Brazilian Congress of Virology (CBV) and the 21st Mercosur Meeting of Virology (EVM) will take place from the 20th to 24th of October 2026 in Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil, bringing together researchers, healthcare professionals, and students from across Brazil and around the world.
This edition is especially significant as the Brazilian Society for Virology (SBV) celebrates its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of contributions to the advancement of virology research and scientific collaboration throughout Brazil and Latin America.
The scientific program will feature keynote lectures, roundtable discussions, oral communications, and poster sessions covering a broad range of topics in virology, public health, environmental sciences, and biotechnology. The meeting will provide an excellent platform for scientific exchange, networking, and the development of new collaborations within the international virology community.
In addition to its scientific activities, the congress will also include special social events celebrating SBV’s 40 years of history and achievements.
