Early Career Investigator Award
The nomination deadline for the Viruses Early Career Investigator Award has been extended to 10 February 2026.
The biennial Viruses Early Career Investigator Award was established in 2017 to acknowledge the achievements of early career investigators in the field of virology.
Award Terms and Conditions
– Nominees must be independent, early-career researchers who are within 10 years of having completed their terminal degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent);
– Nominees must have produced ground-breaking research and made a significant contribution to the field of virology.
Prizes:
– Prize of 1000 CHF (Swiss francs).
– Invitation to publish one paper free of charge, after peer review, in Viruses.
– An invitation to speak at the Viruses International Virology Conference and an engraved plaque.
