Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues

Mosquito-borne diseases have a significant socioeconomic impact on many countries around the world. However, people in tropical regions are more susceptible to mosquito bites, as the hot and humid climate favors their proliferation. The disorderly growth of cities and inadequate sanitation conditions also favor the occurrence of diseases caused by these vectors.

The main focus of this issue is to critically analyze innovative strategies for prevention, treatment, and control, as well as new epidemiological data regarding various mosquito-borne diseases. Studies on Dengue, Zika, Chikungunya, Yellow Fever, Malaria, and Leishmaniasis are relevant, but we also encourage submitting papers related to other mosquito-borne diseases.

I sincerely hope that this Special Issue will serve as a platform for exchanging high-level scientific knowledge, contributing to developing new approaches in the context of One Health.
