Toxicity Reduction and Environmental Remediation

Section Information

Industrialization and urbanization have exacerbated environmental pollution, posing serious threats to ecosystems and human health. This section focuses on toxicity reduction and environmental remediation, addressing the challenges in mitigating the harmful effects of pollutants on the environment and living organisms. This section invites submissions of high-quality original research, reviews, and commentaries on toxicity reduction and environmental remediation, including but not limited to soil remediation, water purification, and biodegradation. Emerging techniques like nanomaterial applications, bioadsorbents, and biochar are emphasized for their promise in removing toxic contaminants and restoring ecosystem health. The key points of this section include: (1) understanding the importance of reducing toxicity to protect ecosystems and human health; (2) exploring the various strategies and technologies employed in environmental remediation; (3) highlighting emerging technologies that have the potential to remove toxic contaminants and restore ecosystems; and (4) recognizing the frontiers and challenges of toxicity reduction and environmental remediation research. By analyzing current research trends and future prospects, we aim to stimulate further research and innovation in the field of toxicity reduction and environmental remediation.
