Journal History

2011	The inaugural issue was released by PAGEPress. Thalassemia Reports was published as a quarterly journal.
2012	1st Pan-Asian Conference on Haemoglobinopathies, 8–10 February 2012, Bangkok, Thailand.
2015	Thalassemia Reports was accepted for indexing by the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).
2022	Thalassemia Reports has been published by MDPI starting from Volume 12 Issue 1 (2022) as a quarterly journal. Thalassemia Reports has been established the following sections: -Conventional Treatment of Thalassemia; -Innovative Treatment of Thalassemia; -Quality of Life.
2023	Thalassemia Reports received its first Impact Factor (0.3), in ESCI Hematology.
