Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Greetings from the University of Craiova, Romania.
We cordially invite you to submit your research papers for consideration. Our overarching goal is to maintain academic excellence and serve as a platform for scholars, students, and professionals to exchange innovative empirical and theoretical research across various scientific disciplines. Our journal covers a diverse range of subjects and welcomes submissions from researchers located around the world. The objective of this SI is to gather researchers, academicians, professionals, and practitioners in order for them to discuss and present their latest research findings, innovations, and advancements in the fields of heat and mass transfer, energy efficiency of buildings, seismic responses of buildings, and the concept of symmetry in all of these prior fields. The papers will cover the disciplines of civil engineering and mechanical engineering. The tracks of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
Track 1: Heat and Mass Transfer.
Track 2: Building Energy Efficiency.
Track 3: Finite Element Method Applied for Modelling the Heat and Mass Transfer in Buildings.
Track 4: Seismic Responses of Buildings.
Track 5: Interdisciplinary Applications of Responses of Buildings to Urban Traffic, Noise, and Pollution.Track 6: The concept of symmetry applied to all of the above fields.
Original papers on the above domains, but not limited to them, are welcome to be submitted to this Special Issue.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Symmetry is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2400 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
