Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The increasing complexity of tourism systems calls for a careful balance between economic competitiveness, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility. This Special Issue aims to explore how sustainable tourism management and marketing innovation can enhance competitiveness and resilience in tourism systems. It focuses on the role of managerial practices, marketing strategies, and digital technologies in supporting sustainable development.

It contributes to the literature by examining the interconnections between sustainability, competitiveness, resilience, and digital transformation in tourism.

We welcome both theoretical and empirical contributions that provide relevant insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. Interdisciplinary approaches and innovative methodologies are especially encouraged.
