Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to announce a Special Issue in Social Sciences focused on understanding the social, cultural, and psychological dimensions of lived experiences. This collection brings together interdisciplinary perspectives that address critical issues such as mental health disparities, social justice, and cultural adaptability in diverse populations.

Contributions will cover a range of topics, including LGBTQ+ identities in therapy, sustainability in rural tourism, workplace gender dynamics, and the experiences of marginalized groups as they navigate systemic barriers. The Special Issue aims to shed light on how individuals and communities negotiate their identities, relationships, and roles within complex sociocultural systems.

We invite submissions that employ a variety of methodological approaches—from interpretative phenomenological analysis to participatory action research—on topics such as mental health interventions, cultural competence, social equity, and identity formation. Our goal is to enhance theoretical knowledge and drive meaningful changes in policy and practice.

This Special Issue serves as a platform to explore the interplay of social, cultural, and psychological factors that shape human experiences. By fostering dialog among researchers and practitioners, we hope to inspire innovative solutions and deepen understanding of how these factors impact diverse communities. Join us in advancing scholarship that promotes equity, inclusion, and transformative change.
