Dear Colleagues,
In the context of the continuous development of nuclear energy globally, the accurate analysis of radionuclides in environmental samples based on the novel materials for the assessment of their potential health risks have become a hot topic in field environmental safety.
In this Special Issue, we invite the cutting-edge research on novel materials and their applications in the concentration, separation, and detection of radioisotopes within complex environmental matrices including water, soil and biological samples.
It highlights advancements in sorbents, membranes, and nanotechnology-based platforms designed for the selective concentration and separation of radioactive isotopes. The contributions explore innovative methodologies that enhance analytical performance in detection radioisotopes, and monitoring radionuclide contamination. By bridging material science with environmental analysis, this collection provides a critical resource for scientists striving to improve the accuracy and efficiency of radioisotope detection in natural systems.
