Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The aim of this Special Issue is to explore the advancements and applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of big data analytics, sensing networks, and information decisions. It aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from various disciplines to showcase the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in this rapidly evolving field.

The scope of this Special Issue encompasses a wide range of topics related to the intersection of artificial intelligence, big data analytics, sensing networks, and information decision. It welcomes contributions that address theoretical advancements, practical applications, and case studies in areas including, but not limited to:

  • AI algorithms and techniques for big data analytics in sensor networks;
  • Machine learning and deep learning in analyzing large-scale evolving sensor datasets;
  • Sensor networks and Internet of Things (IoT) for data collection and monitoring;
  • Data-driven decision-making and intelligent information processing;
  • Predictive analytics and forecasting using big data and AI in IoT and sensor networks;
  • Privacy and security issues in big data analytics and sensing networks;
  • Applications of AI in domains such as environment, healthcare, transportation, and energy involving IoT and sensor networks;
  • Ethical considerations and societal impacts of AI-based big data analytics in IoT and sensor networks.

Contributions may include original research papers, review articles, and survey papers that provide valuable insights, methodologies, and practical implications in the field. The Special Issue encourages interdisciplinary approaches and collaborations to foster innovation and promote the effective utilization of AI and big data in solving real-world problems.

By bringing together the latest research and developments in this area, this Special Issue aims to provide a platform for researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to exchange ideas, share experiences, and contribute to the advancement of artificial intelligence-based big data analytics, sensing networks, and information decisions.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Sensors is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
