Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The integration of Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) technologies and other emerging technologies, such as millimeter wave (mmWave), 5G/6G, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), edge computing, and Software Defined Radio (SDR), is a cornerstone for the development of modern high-speed sensor and communication networks.
This Special Issue aims to bring together recent advances, theoretical developments and analyses, practical implementations, and innovative methodologies that
highlight the applications of MIMO technologies in high-speed sensor and communication networks.
We welcome contributions addressing advanced theoretical developments, real-world deployments, testbeds, and experimental studies, as well as interdisciplinary approaches combining MIMO with AI, IoT, edge computing, 5G/6G, mmWave, and SDR.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Channel estimation.

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Sensors is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
