EWOFS 2023
The 2023 edition of the European Workshop on Optical Fibre Sensors (EWOFS) is being held at the University of Mons in Belgium from 23rd May to 26th May.
After the success of the past editions in Limassol (Cyprus, 2019) and Limerick (Ireland, 2016), the conference was long expected and is at last back. This time, it will be held in the centre of Europe.
EWOFS is one of the major international events for the optical fibre sensors community and is the right place to learn about the recent academic and industrial advances on the technology.
As for the previous editions, the workshop is organized with plenary sessions of invited speakers presenting the state of the art of their specific domain and thematic poster sessions for all the contributed papers. Each poster session is followed by small group discussions with the purpose to analyse and comment on the contributions. The conclusion of each group is then presented to all the attendees. The purpose of this format is to optimize efficient and fruitful discussions and interactions within our optical fibre sensing community.
