Young Investigator Award

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Sensors 2022 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Wenzhuo Wu.

Dr. Wenzhuo Wu is an Associate Professor of the School of Industrial Engineering, Purdue University. Dr. Wu’s research interests are in nanomanufacturing, self-powered nanosystems, renewable energy, humanintegrated technologies, smart sensors, and electronics. Dr. Wu received his PhD in 2013 and has an outstanding publication record, comprising over one hundred publications in peer-reviewed international journals in addition to eleven issued patents. His Hirsch index is 52. He is clearly a rising star in the field of nanotechnology-enabled sensors. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Wu for his outstanding achievements.

As the awardee, Dr. Wu will receive an honorarium of CHF 2000 and an electronic certificate.

We would like to thank all of the nominators from various fields of study for their participation and all of the Award Committee Members for their evaluation of the many excellent nominations.
