Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the winner of the Sensors 2021 Travel Award in Intelligent Sensors.

After careful evaluation, the award has been granted to: Dr. Alfonso Gonzalez Briones, the Post-Doctoral Fellow from Department of Computer Science and Automation Control, University of Salamanca, Spain. His research focuses on artificial intelligence; machine learning; IoT; smart cities; blockchain. As the winner, he will receive CHF 500 and a certificate.

With so many high-quality applicants, the evaluation process and final decision were challenging. We would like to thank all the applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics. Eligibility and Requirements

– Postdoctoral fellows or PhD students, research fellows;
– Plans to attend an international conference in 2021 (oral presentation or poster).

List of Documents for Application

– Information of the conference the applicant is planning to attend and the abstract that will be submitted;
– Curriculum Vitae and list of publications;
– Justification letter describing the focus of the research (max. 800 words);
– Letter of recommendation from the supervisor, research director, or department head, which also confirms the applicant’s status.
