Online Scientific Publishing Exchange: Academic Article-Writing Techniques and MDPI’s Peer-Review Process and Best Practices for Authors and Reviewers
MDPI is excited to collaborate with the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava to host an exclusive Online Scientific Publishing Exchange event to discuss the knowledge and tools needed for successful academic publishing. This workshop will cover key aspects of techniques for writing academic articles, as well as MDPI’s Open Access publishing model, including the peer-review process, editorial workflow and an introduction to Sensors (ISSN: 1424-8220). Participants will receive practical tips on improving scientific writing and best practices for authors and reviewers, guided by experienced editors.

Ms. Doris Larisa Albu is a Journal Relations Specialist at MDPI Romania, focused on building strong, trusting relationships with journal collaborators; handling external and ethical requests; and representing MDPI at events. |

Ms. Andjela Sakota holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. She joined MDPI in 2019 and has since held several roles within the editorial department, gaining extensive experience in scientific publishing. She currently serves as a Journal Relations Specialist, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with scholars, readers, and institutional partners while overseeing the strategic development of both internal and external collaborations for Sensors. Alongside her journal relations role, since 2022, she has served as the Team Lead for a group of MDPI in-house editors, providing guidance, support, and oversight to ensure high editorial standards and efficient workflow management. |

Ms. Diana Mara Fage holds a master’s degree in food control and processing and has more than 5 years of experience working in academic publishing. She works for MDPI as a Journal Relations Specialist and dedicates her time to maintaining and building collaborations with researchers and scholars. Additionally, she represents MDPI at academic events and maintains the integrity of several journals by ensuring that ethical standards are respected. |
