6th Plant Genomics & Gene Editing Congress Asia co-located with Microbiome for Agriculture Congress Asia 2019

Global Engage is pleased to announce that the 6th Plant Genomics and Gene Editing Congress, co-located with Microbiome for Agriculture Congress Asia is taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 29th & 30th July 2019. The meetings are co-hosted by the University of Nottingham (Malaysia) and Crops for the Future.

Over 120 people joined the meeting in Bangkok last year. It is part of our highly respected Plant Genomic Series held in Europe each May and the US every September and which is attended by over 500 people each year.

With a worldwide reputation, the meeting attracts experts working in all areas of plant science.  At this year’s meeting developments in gene editing, NGS and OMICs technologies will all be explored for crop trait development epigenetics and more. Presentations dedicated to plant & soil microbiomes, and the importance of plant phenotyping in the context of bioinformatics challenges, will encourage a holistic approach to plant research.

Specific focus areas include:

  • Gene Editing Technologies & Tool Stage Development
  • Plant Omics – Development, Application and Trends
  • Next Generation Sequencing for Next Generation Plant Breeding
  • Plant Bioinformatics and Data Management
  • Plant and Soil Microbes Interaction
  • Plant Microbiome and Agriculture
