Dear Colleagues,
The increased emerging environmental pollutants due to anthropogenic activities posed adverse effects on the ecosystem, which is a staggering problem of global concern. Nanotechnology has been widely used in environmental remidiation since the ability to control or manipulation of matter on an atomic scale. This Special Issue of Nanomaterials will cover the latest application of green and eco-friendly nanomaterials in the field of pollutant remediation, carbon capture and sustainable development. It aims to attract both academic and industrial researches to contribute original research articles and present their recent progress on the Green and Sustainably Sourced Nanomaterials to Mitigate Emerging Environmental Pollutants. Potential topics included, but are not limited to, the following:
- Synthesis of the green and sustainably sourced nanomaterials
- Environmental remediation using nanomaterials
- Fate, transport and removal of pollutants using nanomaterials
- Advanced application of the functionated nanomaterials
