Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Dietary supplements are not considered as substitutes for foods; however, they may substantially contribute to health maintenance. The common supplements include vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, and substances from natural sources. As the demand for dietary supplements has skyrocketed, the discovery and study of potential natural products are crucial to the development of innovative supplements.

This Special Issue invites all aspects of original research dealing with the biochemical and physiological effects of natural products in relation to the conduction of animal study, cell culture, or computational biology methods. This Special Issue also encourages papers related to bioavailability, toxicology, nutritional analysis, and sensory evaluation of natural products. Researches regarding the food processing of natural products for the development of dietary supplements are also welcomed.
