2018 | Metabolites was indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) - Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics). The 3rd International Electronic Conference on Metabolomics, sponsored by Metabolites, was held. Metabolites announced the first edition of the Best Paper Award. Physical board meeting was held in Seattle, WA, USA. |
2019 | Metabolites received its first Impact Factor (3.303). The Metabolomics Society (MetSoc) became an affiliated society of Metabolites. Physical board meeting was held in The Hague, The Netherlands. Metabolites established the following sections:

2020 | Metabolites received an Impact Factor of 4.097 for the year 2019. Metabolites started the Reviewer Board and Topic Board projects. Metabolites published its 1,000th paper. Metabolites announced the Young Investigator Award 2020, Outstanding Reviewer Awards 2020 and 10th Anniversary Best Paper Awards. |
2021 | Metabolites received the new Impact Factor (4.932), ranked 94/295 (Q2) in "Biochemistry & Molecular Biology". |
