XXII SEQA Meeting

The Organizing Committee, the Spanish Society of Analytical Chemistry (SEQA) and the University of Valladolid are pleased to announce that the XXII SEQA Meeting will be held in Valladolid (Spain) on 18-19 July 2019. The meeting will be preceded by a Workshop on Chemical Speciation on July 17th.

The University of Valladolid is the host of the XXII SEQA Meeting and its Conde Ansúrez Congress Center, located at Real de Burgos Street, will be the seat of all scientific activities. Valladolid is a beautiful historic city with a very Spanish character, located at the centre of the vast Castilla and León region, and surrounded by some of the most famous Spanish winegrowing regions: Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Toro and Cigales. Valladolid is also renowned by its tasty gastronomy, ranging from imaginative tapas to the famous roast lamb, accompanied by our high quality wines.

The XXII SEQA Meeting is the perfect framework to share and show the most important advances and applications in the different fields covered by Analytical Chemistry: sample preparation, analytical techniques, omics, environmental analysis, food analysis... This Meeting is also the most suitable place for the debut of young researchers.

We are honoured to have a speaker´s panel that includes, among others: Dr. Bernhard Michalke, Helmholtz Zentrum München, German Research Center for Environmental Health; Dr. José Manuel Pingarrón, Madrid Complutense University and State Secretary for Universities, Spain; Dr. Fernando Rull, University of Valladolid, Astrobiology Centre-INTA, Associated Unit UVA-CSIC.
