Vision of APCMS
To establish a community of Asia Pacific clinicians to guide and improve understanding, prevention, treatment and outcomes of the metabolic syndrome.
Objectives
- To bring together experts to address current issues on the metabolic syndrome from Australasia and Asia on a yearly basis at alternating regional locations.
- To provide both scientific and clinical developments, showcasing research finding and best practice approaches for the Asian community.
- To provide latest updates in state-of-the-art techniques in etiology, prevention and multidisciplinary care (diabetology, cardiology, general practice nursing care).
- To provide a platform for continuous exchange among the medical community in Asia.
- To provide a networking opportunity for clinical researchers, clinicians and the pharmaceutical companies.
- Bring together the plethora of information on this multi-factorial condition to provide the latest views on best practice management based on the latest research.
