Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease characterized by progressive synovial inflammation, joint destruction, extra-articular manifestations, and significant functional impairment. Although the development of advanced therapies has substantially improved clinical outcomes, major challenges remain in relation to fully elucidating disease mechanisms, optimizing management strategies, and innovating new therapeutic approaches.

This Special Issue, titled “Rheumatoid Arthritis: Pathogenesis, Clinical Management, and Future Therapeutic Directions”, will address these critical areas by presenting cutting-edge research on the complex pathogenesis of RA, current standards of care, and emerging strategies for personalized patient management.

We welcome submissions of original research articles, comprehensive reviews, clinical investigations, translational studies, and perspective pieces. Manuscripts focusing on immunological pathways, genetic and environmental risk factors, novel biomarkers, precision medicine, and the development of biologic and targeted synthetic therapies are particularly encouraged.

This Special Issue will provide meaningful insights for clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals, ultimately contributing to the advancement of RA care, improved patient outcomes, and the future of therapeutic innovation.
