Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The operating environment of a nuclear power producing system challenges materials in a unique way, requiring materials to maintain proper functionality when exposed to high temperatures, corrosive media, high stresses, and the damage caused by energetic particles such as neutrons and fission products. This special issue is dedicated to understanding the challenges required of materials in nuclear systems as well as potential novel solutions being proposed by the material science community.
