Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The modification of nanocrystals by doping with particular ions is still a broadly studied area. This area is of particular interest because of the multiplicity of possible improvements to nanomaterials properties resulted in versatile applications. This Special Issue ‘Ion-Doped Nanomaterials’ encourages submissions that comprise important experimental information related to the following:

  • Synthesis of new nanomaterials doped with ions, establishing parameters for the synthesis method, that can obtain high-quality nanocrystals with enhanced properties
  • Detailed analysis and characterization of new properties or significant changes in the properties of nanomaterials doped by ions
  • Characterization techniques
  • New functions of the modified nanomaterials based on improved properties of nanocrystals doped with ions, including optical, magnetic and electronic devices and applications in biology, medicine, and energy
