Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We welcome you to submit your manuscripts to this Special Issue called “Marine Toxins” from Marine Drugs journal. Studies of marine toxins not only help prevent human illness and identify environmental problems but also provide insight into human biology and suggest new approaches for treating human diseases. In this review, we would to explore the ocean for development of new compounds from Marine pharmacology: anti-infective, anti-inflammatory and anti-tumoral treatments.

Several are the topics to perform:

  • Marine toxins,
  • New compounds developed from marine toxins,
  • Mechanisms of action of marine toxins,
  • Bacterial marine toxins,
  • Medical applications from compounds or toxins (Marine pharmacology): anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumoral.

Manuscript Submission Information

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Marine Drugs is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
