16th European Carbohydrate Symposium (Eurocarb 16)

The tradition of Eurocarb Symposia started in Wien in 1981 and has been followed by 14 other meetings all over Europe. Eurocarb 16 in Sorrento-Naples aims to show the state-of-the-art research on all aspects of Carbohydrate Chemistry and Biology and to stimulate high quality and innovation, inspiring those already working in the field and young scientists approaching Glycoscience. The Conference will last 5 working days and will include sessions on Enzymatic and Organic Synthesis of Glycoconjugates, New Analytical approaches to Structural Analysis of Glycoconjugates, Glycobiology and Glycomedicine Science, Glyco-biotechnology, Food and Industrial aspect of carbohydrates.

The scientific program will include Plenary Lectures, Invited Lectures and Contributed Papers. The meeting will cover four main general topics in the following categories:
-   Chemical and Enzymatic Synthesis
-   New Tools and Methods in Structural Analysis
-   Glycobiology and Glycomedicine
-   Glyco-biotechnology
