The RGS-IBG Annual International Conference 2023
The RGS-IBG Annual International Conference regularly attracts over 2,000 geographers from around the world. This year, the conference is taking place in London at the Society and Imperial College London, and online from Wednesday 30 August to Friday 1 September (with an opening plenary on Tuesday 29 August).
This scientific event will cover a large range of topics, including:
- Climate-smart, sustainable forest management adapted to the socio-economic system;
- The effects of climate change, air pollution and other stressors on forest ecosystems;
- Protection, conservation and enhancement of functions and services of forest ecosystems;
- Genetics and trees breeding;
- Wildlife conservation and management;
- Applied remote sensing technologies for forestry.
