Young Investigator Award

We are pleased to announce that the winners of the JPM 2022 Young Investigator Award are Dr. Anda Mihaela Naciu and Dr. Jerome Lechien.
Dr. Anda Mihaela Naciu is a Consultant Endocrinologist at the Unit of Metabolic Bone and Thyroid Disorders, Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico (Via Alvaro del Portillo 200, 00128 Rome, Italy). Dr. Anda Mihaela Naciu’s research interests include osteoporosis, thyroid disorders, thyroid ultrasound, parathyroid disorders, calcium metabolism disorders, type 2 diabetes and cancer-related endocrine disorders. Dr. Naciu received her PhD in 2021 and has an outstanding publication record, comprising 32 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and 1 international patent. Dr. Anda Mihaela Naciu’s Scopus Scientific Citations number 341 and her Hirsch index is 10. She is clearly a rising star in the field of endocrine research and the clinical arena. Dr. Jerome Lechien is a Professor of Otolaryngology, Anatomy & Physiology, University of Mons, Mons, Belgium. Dr. Lechien’s research interests include many research fields, including COVID-19, chronic rhinosinusitis, reflux, personalized medicine, artificial intelligence, and head and neck cancer. Dr. Lechien received his PhD in 2017 and has an outstanding publication record, comprising 419 publications in peer-reviewed international journals. Dr. Jerome Lechien’s Scopus Scientific Citations number 6,655 and his Hirsch index is 36. He is clearly a rising star in the field of otolaryngology. This is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Lechien for his outstanding achievements.
As the awardees, Dr. Naciu and Dr. Lechien will receive an honorarium of CHF 1000, an offer to publish a paper free of charge in 2023 in JPM after peer-review, and an electronic certificate.
