Social and Emotional Intelligence
A section of Journal of Intelligence (ISSN 2079-3200).
Section Information
This Section is concerned with non-traditional approaches to understanding human intelligence; these include social and emotional intelligence. Broadly defined, we encourage contributions that expand our knowledge of how individual differences in social and emotional processes predict human success and function. The scope of this Section is not limited to papers focused on social and emotional intelligence, but scientific rigour and construct validity are key determinants in whether a submission is suitable for the journal. In terms of social and emotional intelligence, we accept submissions across all age groups and populations. We also encourage submissions that focus on the measurement of these constructs.
