Travel Award

Dear Colleagues,

As Editor-in-Chief of IJMS, I am pleased to announce the winners of the IJMS 2024 Travel Award. The award has been granted to the following researchers:

Dr. Suvilesh Kanve Nagaraj is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Surgery, Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, University of Missouri-Columbia, Missouri, USA. His research interests include cancer; liquid biomarkers; circulating tumor cells; fusion cells; colorectal cancer; anti-tumor immunity; bioinformatics; tumor microenvironment; and immune surveillance.

Dr. Konrad Kleszczyński has been a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Dermatology, University of Münster, Germany, since 2018. Dr. Kleszczyński is a longstanding researcher in dermato-endocrinology, skin biology including dermatopathology (melanoma, pigmentation disorders), and cell signaling involving disturbances in mitochondrial homeostasis and UVR-induced deleterious changes in cutaneous cells.

Dr. Maicon Landim Vieira is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Florida State University College of Medicine, Florida, USA. His research focuses on using molecular tools to improve cardiac function and running capacity by restoring ACTN2 levels via Myo-AAV technology.

As awardees, they will each receive an honorarium of CHF 800 and a certificate.

With so many high-quality applicants, the evaluation process and final decision were challenging. We would like to thank all the applicants for submitting their diverse and fascinating range of research topics. On behalf of the assessment committee, I congratulate the winners on their accomplishments.
