Special Issue Information

Dear colleagues,

Oral cancer is one of the most complex tumors to diagnose and treat due to the location of the disease, a region with a high aesthetic impact that makes any treatment, even psychologically, very painful for the patient. It is for these reasons that research, aimed at treating the tumor and rehabilitating the oro-maxillofacial complex, represent the core of our patient's treatment. The success of our research first and later our treatments can completely terribly upset the existence of our patients and bring them back to a life worth living.

This special issue aims to focus on the main aspects of the maxillofacial district reconstruction and their usefulness in achieving the best type of oral and prosthetic rehabilitation. It offers us the possibility of cementing the conceptual link between optimal reconstruction and rehabilitation to achieve a return to the social and work life of the head and neck cancer patients.
