Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
In recent decades, there has been a growing concern related to physical fitness and body composition in children. This has become more relevant due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A sedentary lifestyle in children and young people and its influence on body composition and, consequently, on their health calls for deeper investigation in this area. Thus, the need to develop theories, deepen knowledge, and present new data that can alert and lead to an improvement in physical fitness and body composition in children is transversal throughout the world.
This Special Issue seeks papers on physical fitness and body composition and its links to other health habits and wellbeing. Papers that are linked to the school and/or sports environment are especially welcomed, but longitudinal studies on the topic are also warmly welcomed. Systematic reviews will also be considered.
