Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to submit research on the intersection of positive psychology and public health. This Special Issue will explore the role of positive psychology in improving health outcomes, disease prevention, and overall life satisfaction. We welcome research contributions exploring how positive psychology constructs (e.g., PERMA, optimism, character strengths, and gratitude) and self-determination impact mental and physical health outcomes, disease and disability management, and healthcare access and engagement. We are also interested in seeing manuscripts exploring artificial intelligence utilization in positive psychology research to improve health and well-being outcomes. We seek a range of methodological approaches, including cross-sectional studies, qualitative research, mixed methods, longitudinal studies, and experimental and quasi-experimental studies.
